Joe’s Famous® Coffee Announces Retail Expansion Led by Kroger Veteran Arlene O’Bannion
Joe’s Famous®, a specialty coffee company founded in Houston, Texas in 2020, is preparing to bring its premium Colombian coffee to supermarket shelves across the U.S., led by new equity partner Arlene O’Bannion. With 45 years of experience at The Kroger Company, O’Bannion brings a deep knowledge of grocery operations and is now focused on securing national retail distribution. She joins forces with Joes Famous® Colombian Master Roaster Daniel Giraldo, who oversees the small-batch roasting of the brand’s 100% Arabica high-elevation beans.
Joes Famous® coffee is certified by the Colombia Coffee Federation and proudly carries the iconic Juan Valdez seal. Roasted in Colombia and shipped by air, each batch reaches the U.S. within just two days of production, ensuring peak freshness and flavor. With an 85 cupping score, the coffee ranks in the Specialty Coffee category, celebrated for its smooth, rich taste.
